Graduate Programs Improve in Latest U.S. News Rankings

The Naveen Jindal School of Management at the University of Texas at Dallas has recently achieved significant recognition for its graduate programs. According to the latest rankings by U.S. News & World Report, it stands out as the best business school for graduate students in North Texas and ranks third statewide. This accolade is a testament to the school’s commitment to excellence and its ability to prepare students for successful careers in the competitive business landscape.

Released on April 8, the rankings place the Jindal School’s full-time MBA program at an impressive No. 31 nationally, reflecting a remarkable upward movement of seven spots from the previous year. This climb not only highlights the quality of the MBA program but also underscores the broader achievements of UT Dallas across various academic disciplines.

Dr. Juan González, dean of graduate education and vice provost for global engagement, commented on the significance of these rankings. He emphasized the continuous academic momentum at the University, stating, “From our full-time MBA program’s climb to strong gains in engineering, communication sciences, information systems and the social sciences, UT Dallas continues to demonstrate academic excellence and innovation.” This sentiment captures the essence of the school’s multifaceted approach to education, integrating interdisciplinary programs and fostering a culture of ambition among students.

In addition to its notable ranking for the full-time MBA program, UT Dallas shines in several other areas. It ranks 14th among part-time MBA programs and returns to the national top 15 for information systems at No. 14. Furthermore, the full-time program stands 12th among public schools nationwide, showcasing the competitive edge of its business education. These distinctions are further complemented by the recognition of the Jindal School as the top online MBA program for 2025 by Poets&Quants, affirming its leadership in innovative online education.

The School of Economic, Political and Policy Sciences also boasts commendable rankings, with its public affairs program at No. 56 and nonprofit management at 24th.
